Marked By Cain still remains and likely will always remain one of my favorite books that I've written. The FMC, Rosie, is a personality blend of myself and my two best friends, and I just had the best time writing her, letting the pieces of each of us shine through. 

I also LOVE this story because so many side characters had the opportunity to bloom. From it, we got Sly, who as you know now has two (and a half) books of his own, but there's other side characters we meet in Marked By Cain who will have the opportunity to shine later, too. 

If you haven't picked it up yet, I'd love to encourage you to grab it! The eBook and Paperback covers were recently updated, and eventually (after the rewrites) the rest of the Ridgewood series will match!
