Marked By Cain still remains and likely will always remain one of my favorite books that I've written. The FMC, Rosie, is a personality blend of myself and my two best friends, and I just had the best time writing her, letting the pieces of each of us shine through. 

I also LOVE this story because so many side characters had the opportunity to bloom. From it, we got Sly, who as you know now has two (and a half) books of his own, but there's other side characters we meet in Marked By Cain who will have the opportunity to shine later, too.
